All Engineering, Mixing, Drums and Percussion - R. Fritz Washabaugh
All Songs by Matthew Gramling and Thebes
Thebes was an all-original rendering of a scattered collection of several music genres including rock, ska, jazz, punk, and more. The band in time began to create music that would let me stretch out here and here. (Very fun to play.) After a 4 1/2 year run, the band broke up in Mid 2004, while in the process of recording a CD. Thebes was Matthew Gramling, Janelle Schweitzer, Charles Miller, and R. Fritz Washabaugh.

The CD that Never Was - 2004
We were in the process of recording this CD, we had 10 tracks of drums, bass, guitars, and piano. In Mid-2004 the band fractured permanently due to management issues. The CD was scrapped. These takes were pulled from the grave. They are rough, and unpolished, but its all we have left. Enjoy.

Live at Vnuk's - March 2003
This would turn out to be Thebes' last live show together. Later that year, the band broke up due to problems with sex, drugs and rock n' roll. This show was recorded on a MiniDisc with a little condenser microphone. The effect is the drums became very loud on the recording because of the mic and also the units limit/compression processor. We had a very short time to setup and play.
